Approach

From mapped reality to a system you can trust.

Five stages, each with a clear output. Approval gates sit where mistakes would be expensive, so progress stays fast without becoming reckless.

Process

Five steps, one direction of travel.

Stages can overlap on smaller projects, but none is skipped. Each ends with something you can review.

  1. Map

Understand the systems, people and constraints as they really are — not as the diagram says.

    What happens

    • Interviews with the people who run the process
    • Inventory of systems, data flows, credentials and owners
    • Risks, dependencies and what must not break
  2. Design

Agree on a target architecture, ownership and the checkpoints where people stay in control.

    What happens

    • Target architecture and sources of truth
    • Human gates and escalation paths defined up front
    • Scope, milestones and acceptance criteria in writing
  3. Build

Implement in small, reviewable increments with tests, logging and documentation from day one.

    What happens

    • Infrastructure and configuration as code
    • Automated tests and staging environments
    • Regular demos against the agreed acceptance criteria
  4. Gate

Nothing reaches production without an explicit approval, a rollback plan and someone accountable.

    What happens

    • Pre-release review against acceptance criteria
    • Documented rollback and verified backups
    • Named approver for every production change
  5. Operate

Hand over cleanly, or keep it running for you — with monitoring, reporting and continuous improvement.

    What happens

    • Runbooks, diagrams and credentials handed to you
    • Monitoring and alerting tuned to real signals
    • Optional managed operations under an agreed scope

Principles

Six standards we hold ourselves to.

They apply whether the work is a small automation or a multi-agent system.

Human gates by design

Automation and AI agents act within explicit boundaries. Consequential actions — production changes, customer-facing messages, payments — pass a named human approval.

Least privilege

Every system, script and agent gets only the access it needs, scoped and revocable. Credentials stay in your control.

Observable by default

If it runs, it logs. Traces, alerts and audit trails are part of the build, not an afterthought.

Reversible changes

Every rollout ships with a rollback path and verified backups. Small, incremental releases over big-bang cut-overs.

Documented & transferable

Architecture, runbooks and decisions are written down so your team — or any competent engineer — can take over.

No lock-in by stealth

We favour open standards and tools you can own. Where a vendor platform is the right call, we make the trade-offs explicit.

What you can expect

Qualities of the result, not promises of numbers.

We describe what a well-run engagement should leave behind. We do not quote guaranteed savings or return on investment.

One coherent operation

Systems that used to disagree share a source of truth and move data once, correctly.

Fewer manual hand-offs

Repetitive steps are automated, and the exceptions that need judgement reach the right person.

AI you can supervise

Agents work inside clear permissions, with logs you can read and gates you control.

Infrastructure you can rebuild

Servers and environments are defined as code, backed up and recoverable — not tribal knowledge.

Calmer releases

Changes flow through tested pipelines with approvals and rollbacks instead of late-night heroics.

Knowledge that stays with you

Clear documentation and handover mean you are never dependent on a single person — including us.
